Tiered Pricing

  • Tier 1
is our historically subsidized rate (what we usually charge) and reflects about 60% of the true cost of operating summer camp programs. If this fits your budget, pick this one
  • Tier 2
is our partially subsidized fee, about 80% of the cost, for those who can pay a little more but still cannot afford the actual cost of camp.
  • Tier 3
more closely accounts for the true costs of a session at summer camp. All the meals, equipment, Summer Missionary costs, insurance, maintenance, and more.

WHY THREE PRICES?

Blomidon Bible Camp serves families with different abilities to pay. Every family has a unique circumstance. At Blomidon we have always believed that all children and youth should have the opportunity to attend camp regardless of their ability to pay. We also want to balance our desire to help families, with our desire to continue providing that service for years to come. Realizing that, Blomidon Bible Camp has instituted a voluntary Three-Tier Fee program.

Through generous donations to Blomidon’s general operating fund, individuals, organizations, and local churches complete the needed funding for our programs. As well, all capital projects are completed through the generous gifts of finances, materials, and labor; and does not come from the camper fees.

You may choose the tier that is most suitable for your family. It is really an honor system; you tell us what is affordable for your family. All campers receive the same Blomidon experience no matter what they pay. For those families that cannot afford Tier 1, additional financial assistance is available to ensure that all children have this wonderful opportunity to attend camp. In addition, some families use this system to give themselves a multi-child or multi-week discount.

Again, this program is voluntary and in no way influences the experience children receive, yet it offers the opportunity for families to take an active role in supporting the true cost of their child's camp experience.

You may be wondering what we are going to do with more income from Tier 2 and 3? The more income that we receive from camp fees to cover program expenses, enables us to use donations to the general fund for maintenance and improvements. It helps to accomplish things, like renovating the bathrooms, get done sooner. It also helps us invest in the program without having to raise funds for new equipment. Those funds can then go to upgrade or replace aging buildings. You see, it really does help.

We also want to remind families that if all three Tiers are still out of your price range, contact us for more info on our sponsorship program or to check with your local church leadership to see if they have any policies for sponsoring children to attend camp.
